Cornwell (Winnipeg) Branch
The Cornwell (Winnipeg) Branch of the Navy League of Canada is a not-for-profit organization, and registered charity, that provides fundraising and support for the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps John Travers Cornwell, VC. The organization collects donations, fundraises and provides volunteers to assist the cadet corps with its extra-curricular activities.
The Branch’s volunteers are past cadets, officers and parents of cadets of the John Travers Cornwell, VC sea cadet corps. During the cadet year (September to June), the Branch meets once a month, on the first Thursday of the month, at H.M.C.S. Chippawa. Branch Sub-Committees
The Anniversary Steering Committee is a sub-committee of the Cornwell (Winnipeg) Branch. The Branch has tasked this committee to plan an anniversary party for the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps John Travers Cornwell, VC. They are tasked with planning the year long event, fundraise for the event and the corps and undertaking projects to assist the corps and draw attention to the upcoming anniversary.
