Corps Notable Member Interviews

In addition to the Commanding Officers interviews, the Anniversary Steering Committee arranged to record additional interviews with long serving, well respected and influential members of the Corps. Hugh Walker (alumni 1966-1979) volunteered to take on this project.

Bob Watkins, who was a Cadet in the Corps between 1939-1944, and our oldest surviving member. Special thanks to Lynn Hawkeye (alumni 1976-1984) for providing a location for each of the interviews and interviewing Bob.

Jim Palmquist, who was a Cadet and then an Officer between 1957 and 1975, served as Communications, Range and Guard Officer in his time at JTC. Special thanks to Phillip Bingham (alumni 1972-1979) for additions to the webpage, photography and interviewing Jim.

Bill Sutherland, who was a Cadet and then an Officer between 1950 and 1979, served in many capacities in his time with the Corps, including Executive Officer for many years. Special thanks to Bill's granddaughter, Taylor Gregory for her assistance in Bill's interview.
