Sunset Ceremony 1967

In 1967, RCSCC John Travers Cornwell VC participated in a number of Canada’s centennial year celebration activities. One activity was to provide a Guard and Band for the Royal Visit in June and another was to perform the Sunset Ceremony on the grounds of the Manitoba Legislature. Large audiences watched as RCSCC John Travers Cornwell VC’s Guard, Band and Gun Crew performed this traditional naval ceremony every night for a week.
