Commanding Officer Interviews Six additional Commanding Officer Interviews have been released since our last Quarterly Alumni Update. Interviews of LCdr. A. McInnes (1973-1976), LCdr. J.L. Templeman (1976-1983), LCdr. L. Bilton (1983-1987), LCdr. G. Bruce (1987-1990), LCdr. D.G. Bullee (1990-1994 & 1999-2003) and LCdr. N.D.C. Johnston (1994-1997) are now available. Check out all of these videos on our website. A very special thank you goes out to Hugh Walker (alumni 1966-1979) for all of his hard work making this project a reality. |

Share Your Stories & Pictures On Thursday, January 25, 2018 between 1900 and 2000 hours, members of the Alumni will be at HMCS Chippawa with a computer and a scanner, ready to scan in your pictures and record your stories. So, come on down to Chippawa and let us scan your pictures for you, tell us a few stories and see the Corps on parade. If you have electronic pictures, bring them down on a memory stick and we’ll copy them to our computer while you wait. |

Donations The Cornwell (Winnipeg) Branch and the Alumni Anniversary Committee are always looking for donations, so please keep us in mind when you’re making your end of year donations this year. Remember, your donations are tax deductible (you will receive a tax receipt in the mail in February). See the Branch website for details on how to donate. |

Sea Cadet 100th Anniversary Pin Canadian Sea Cadets are celebrating their 100th anniversary in 2018. To mark that milestone, The Navy League of Canada has issued a centennial pin for the cadets to wear on their uniforms. This pin will be available, for purchase, by alumni members early in the new year. Stay tuned to our website and Facebook page for the details.. |

Raffle for 9” X 12” Painting of Corps Badge A 9-inch by 12-inch painting of the Corps Badge (crest), identical to the 4-foot by 4-foot painting unveiled on May 4, 2017, is being raffled off at this year’s (2018) Annual Ceremonial Review. Tickets are just $5. Full details. |

Corps Cap Tallies The Alumni are looking to acquire all of the different cap tallies worn by cadets over the years. We are currently looking for a R.C.S.C. cap tally, which was worn between 1943 and 1952 (shown in the picture to the left). If you have a R.C.S.C. cap tally that you would be willing to donate to the Corps, please contact your Alumni Team. For a complete list of cap tallies already acquired, see our website. |

Chief & Petty Officers’ Mess Constitution In 1962 the Chief & Petty Officers’ Mess drafted a constitution for the Mess. That Constitution, pictured to the left, has fallen on hard times. The Alumni would like to try and restore this document, but we require your assistance. A substantial piece on the left hand side is now missing. If you have a picture of the full Constitution, or if you were a member of the drafting party and remember the wording, your Alumni Team would dearly love to hear from you (AlumniTeam@jtcvcAlumni.ca). Cornwell Branch Grey Cup Pool The Cornwell Branch conducted their annual Grey Cup Pool again this year. Thank you to all of you that sold and bought tickets! A special thank you goes out to Noel Johnson for all the work he put into organizing the Grey Cup Pool!!
